# Track and Reconcile Customer Payments

> Log incoming payments against invoices, review payment status, and reconcile outstanding balances using MyStockPulse Payments.

MyStockPulse Payments helps you log and track incoming customer payments that are separate from the instant checkout transactions handled at the point of sale. Use this module to record payments against invoices, monitor what is still outstanding, and keep your customer balances accurate.

> [!NOTE]
>
> For payments taken during an in-person sale at the register, see the point-of-sale payment guide. This page covers the Payments module for post-sale collections and invoice reconciliation.

## Record a Payment

To log a new payment against a customer invoice or sale:

1. Open **Record Payment** from the Payments section.
2. Select the invoice or sale being paid.
3. Enter the payment amount, date, method, and any other required details.
4. Save the payment.
5. Review the **Payment Summary** and **Payment Details** to confirm the payment is linked to the correct sale and customer.

## Payment Status

Use **Payment Status** to distinguish completed collections from **Pending Payments**. This makes it easy to see which customers still owe money and which invoices are settled. Payment filters help you narrow the list during weekly or monthly reconciliation.

## Payment Methods

Configure the payment methods your business accepts in **Settings**. The exact options available during checkout or invoicing depend on the services you have enabled. Online payment services are available only when the relevant integrations are configured.

## Currency Support

MyStockPulse supports multiple customer-facing currencies including USD, XAF, NGN, and KES. You can bill customers and record payments in the currency relevant to the transaction. Note that your subscription billing currency is managed separately from the currencies used for customer sales.

> [!NOTE]
>
> XAF subscription billing is available for eligible plans. Your invoice and payment currencies for customers are independent of the currency used for your MyStockPulse subscription.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The payment methods available during checkout or invoicing depend on the payment services and integrations configured in your account. Enable the relevant connectors before expecting specific methods to appear.
