Online orders and fulfillment
Use Online Orders to review orders from configured ecommerce channels. MyStockPulse also supports fulfillment capabilities such as shipping labels, package tracking, carrier assignment, and customer updates when the required services are configured.
Recommended fulfillment flow
Review the order
Confirm the customer, delivery information, items, quantities, payment state, and fulfillment location before work begins.
Pick and verify the items
Use the order as the picking source. Barcode scanning can reduce errors when products have similar names or packaging. If an item is unavailable, check another location before changing the order.
Check the picked items and quantities before sealing the package. Record any shortage, damage, or substitution according to the business's operating policy.
Prepare shipment
Where the configured carrier or integration supports it, prepare the shipping label and attach tracking information. Carrier assignment can also be part of an automation rule.
Update the customer
Keep the order state and tracking information current so customer updates reflect what has actually happened.
Fulfillment controls
- Separate picking and verification for higher-value orders.
- Scan products during picking when barcode data is available.
- Track orders that have not progressed within the expected time.
- Investigate repeated picking errors by product and location.
- Keep carrier and tracking information attached to the correct order.
