Work offline
The POS can temporarily store sales on the current device when internet access is lost.
While offline:
- The POS displays an offline warning.
- Submitted sales are saved locally.
- Transactions are queued for synchronization.
- The dashboard may show a pending synchronization count.
Synchronize queued sales
When the connection returns:
- Keep the user signed in.
- Allow MyStockPulse to synchronize pending sales.
- Wait for the pending count to reach zero.
- Open Sales History and confirm each transaction is present.
- Review any synchronization error before taking further action.
:::warning Avoid duplicate sales Do not enter the transaction again merely because it is not immediately visible while offline. Re-entry can create a duplicate when synchronization finishes. :::
Offline transactions depend on the browser and device. Do not clear browser storage while sales are waiting to synchronize.
Effects of a completed sale
Each sale deducts:
quantity sold × pieces in the selected unit
The sale stores a cost snapshot used by Product Performance:
profit = revenue − cost of goods sold
profit margin = profit ÷ revenue × 100
A completed sale creates its accounting journal entry. A void creates the corresponding reversal. Sales also contribute to revenue, sales trends, product performance, gross profit, stock movements, and turnover reports.
