Work offline

The POS can temporarily store sales on the current device when internet access is lost.

While offline:

  • The POS displays an offline warning.
  • Submitted sales are saved locally.
  • Transactions are queued for synchronization.
  • The dashboard may show a pending synchronization count.

Synchronize queued sales

When the connection returns:

  1. Keep the user signed in.
  2. Allow MyStockPulse to synchronize pending sales.
  3. Wait for the pending count to reach zero.
  4. Open Sales History and confirm each transaction is present.
  5. Review any synchronization error before taking further action.

:::warning Avoid duplicate sales Do not enter the transaction again merely because it is not immediately visible while offline. Re-entry can create a duplicate when synchronization finishes. :::

Offline transactions depend on the browser and device. Do not clear browser storage while sales are waiting to synchronize.

Effects of a completed sale

Each sale deducts:

quantity sold × pieces in the selected unit

The sale stores a cost snapshot used by Product Performance:

profit = revenue − cost of goods sold
profit margin = profit ÷ revenue × 100

A completed sale creates its accounting journal entry. A void creates the corresponding reversal. Sales also contribute to revenue, sales trends, product performance, gross profit, stock movements, and turnover reports.
