Sales history and voids

Open Sales > Sales History to review completed and voided transactions.

Review a sale

Use the available filters and date range to find a transaction. Sales History can show:

  • Sale date, store, customer, and cashier
  • Total and amount paid
  • Payment method and payment status
  • Sale status
  • Sale lines and notes

Open a sale to review its products, units, quantities, prices, subtotals, and payment details. Use Download for a PDF receipt or Print for a printable copy.

Voided sales remain visible for accountability and should not be treated as active revenue.

Void a sale

Only a completed sale can be voided.

  1. Open Sales > Sales History.
  2. Find the transaction and open its actions.
  3. Select Void Sale.
  4. Enter a clear reason of at least three characters.
  5. Review the warning and confirm.

Voiding:

  • Changes the status to Voided
  • Records who voided the sale, when, and why
  • Restores the sold stock
  • Records new inventory snapshots
  • Creates a reversal accounting entry

Voiding is not deletion. If the customer already paid, follow the business's refund procedure as well; voiding does not physically return money.

Customers

Use Sales > Customers to add, search, edit, activate, or deactivate customer records. Inactive customers cannot be selected for new transactions, but their historical sales remain available.

Use a named customer for purchase history, contact details, named receipts, or follow-up. Use walk-in when customer details are unnecessary.

Online Orders and Coupons

Use Sales > Online Orders for enabled online stores. Depending on the connection, you can review customer and delivery details, update status, and add tracking. Do not recreate an online order as a POS sale unless the business process specifically requires it.

Use Sales > Coupons for promotional codes. POS promotion prices and minimum-price tiers are configured on the product, not as coupons.
