Record a sale

Open New Sale

  1. Select the required store from the dashboard.
  2. Open Sales > New Sale.
  3. Wait for stores, customers, products, and payment methods to load.

The selected store is required and controls which products are available and where stock is deducted.

Select or create a customer

The customer is optional. Search by name or email and select an existing record, or leave the field empty for a walk-in sale.

To create a customer without leaving the POS:

  1. Open the customer search.
  2. Select Add customer here.
  3. Enter the name and optional email and phone.
  4. Select Save customer.

The new customer is selected for the current sale.

Confirm the date and notes

The sale date defaults to today and cannot be in the future. Only use an earlier date when the business process permits backdated transactions.

Notes can contain delivery instructions, references, payment context, or an exceptional-price reason. Never include passwords or complete payment-card details.

Add products

For each line:

  1. Select the product.
  2. Select Piece, Packet, Box, or Carton.
  3. Enter a quantity greater than zero.
  4. Confirm the unit price.
  5. Select an approved minimum-price tier when applicable.

At least one valid line is required. MyStockPulse calculates line subtotals and the total automatically.

Scan a barcode

Scan or enter the saved product barcode, verify the product that was added, and then confirm its unit and quantity. If nothing is found, verify the barcode in Items and confirm the product belongs to the selected store.

Valid prices

A submitted price must match:

  • The regular selling price
  • An active promotion price
  • An active minimum-price tier, such as wholesale, distributor, or staff price

The POS does not accept an arbitrary custom price.

Stock validation

MyStockPulse checks available stock before saving. If stock is insufficient, confirm the store, product, unit conversion, and requested quantity. Then receive, transfer, or adjust stock through the appropriate inventory workflow.

Do not bypass the warning by choosing the wrong selling unit.
